What does my sponsored child gain?

She’ll get easier access to education, nutritious food, clean water and healthcare. But it doesn’t stop there. Sponsored girls tend to earn more, marry later and mentor others in their community.

Access

She’ll have access to education, nutritious food, clean water and healthcare. In five years, we've improved access to menstrual hygiene for 44,922 women and girls.

Strength

She’ll learn how to advocate for her rights. In Kasai, Democratic Republic of the Congo, women and girls who feel equipped to advocate for their rights increased by 62% over three years.

Support

Her parents and community will learn about gender equality and girls’ rights. In 2023, we trained 269,672 people on child protection, including positive parenting, children’s rights and early marriage.
