The Enhancing Nutrition Services to Improve Maternal and Child Health in Africa and Asia (ENRICH) program works to improve and address the reduction in maternal and child mortality by improving health and nutrition status.

World Vision reviewed and analyzed the program data by undergoing a cost-benefit analysis conducted by Limestone Analytics to better understand its performance. The analysis revealed ENRICH as cost-effective at improving health outcomes.

To measure the impact, rather than just using one, five models were selected with each relying on different assumptions. Additionally, a best-practice sensitivity analysis provided certainty in the final results. The overall burden of disease is assessed though Disability-adjusted life year (DALY) which provides a time based measure, showing specific burdens prevented through the programs impact.
