Photos of the distribution activity in response to the escalation of violence in Goma. A total of 21,605 households are scheduled for distribution in the Shasha and Bweremana localities. These households will benefit from cereals, vegetables, oil and salt. The aim of this activity is to combat child malnutrition and support women who have not been able to grow enough food to meet their needs.

Support Emergency Response

World Vision responded to 28 crises in 2023, reaching 5.7 million people in 31 countries. Support from our donors equipped us to respond to many crises.

As of mid-2023, 110 million people have been forcibly displaced worldwide because of persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations or events seriously disturbing public order  – UNHCR.

Your help to provide things like emergency food, water, medicine, shelter and other supplies to children and families will bring much needed hope and quick relief during extreme hardship. In the wake of a disaster, it is children who suffer most. World Vision is often one of the first organizations to begin emergency relief work after a disaster such as flooding, earthquakes, and conflict.
