Myanmar Earthquake One Month On

Hope amid the rubble. Emergency relief in Myanmar continues.

Here's what you support has helped us achieve so far

120,733
people received essential food items
53,193
children supported
27,179
people benefited from clean water and hygiene support

One month ago, a powerful earthquake struck central Myanmar, devastating communities and putting thousands of lives at risk. Thanks to your generous and timely support, World Vision has been on the ground since day one, delivering urgent assistance to the most vulnerable—especially children.

Our teams continue to respond in the hardest-hit areas, ensuring families have access to the essentials they need to recover and rebuild.

“Our kitchen walls were also damaged, so we can’t cook rice or proper meals yet. We’ve been eating ready-to-eat food donated by kind people in our village. When we get hungry, my brother and I snack on the biscuits from World Vision and the World Food Programme. We both really love them.”- 6-year-old Alinka in Madaya

While your support has helped us make meaningful progress, many families still face dire conditions, and the needs of the affected people are rapidly exceeding resources.

Your compassion is making a real impact—and we’re committed to walking alongside these communities in the weeks and months ahead.

Thank you for standing with the people of Myanmar.
